Printing Methods

Our printing services are based on two tried-and-tested processes: conventional offset printing and flexible digital printing. Depending on the print run, material and requirements, we select the most suitable technology to ensure the highest quality and precise results.

UV offset printing offers both us and you a number of advantages:

  • Printing on non-absorbent materials such as silver foil and plastics
  • No drying times and ready for further processing immediately
  • No need for printing powder, resulting in better results when finishing with foil or embossed lacquers
  • With digital printing, even very small print runs are possible and this includes white, silver and gold printing, as well as spot digital varnish
  • Plastics can also be printed on using digital printing
  • Printing on all standard and absorbent materials
  • Production of prints certified by the Blue Angel

Pre-press

Thorough preparation is one of the keys to achieving excellent print results. WPP has a fully equipped pre-press department with a PDF workflow at its disposal: retouching, typesetting and image editing are all provided from a single source.

For approval, we produce plots, PDFs or proofs that give a true-to-life preview of the final print result and provide you with a realistic impression. And if you want to know – and see – exactly what the result will be, we can produce a 1:1 proof for you on the actual press.
